Car unlocked and windows rolled down ....
Happened a few days back- went to my car in parking lot and it was unlocked and windows rolled down...I know that can happen with a key fob (press and hold unlock) - but I did not do that........that same day I had "online services unavailable" message ...I posted this in another thread but just wondering if the two are connected somehow - -has anyone had their GLE windows roll down automatically when parked?? That is seriously messed up. Car is only couple of weeks old. I talked to Mercedes dealership and they were not sure - it has not happened since. Today the online services switched back on automatically....now I am wondering if it will trigger another window roll-down issue ........I am not too fussed about online services but the car unlocking and rolling down windows is crazy

For the windows rolled down issue you can have your dealership reprogram the sequence of the summer convenient opening feature, with different button presses instead of just holding the unlock button (which can get triggered in the pocket) https://mbworld.org/forums/gls-class...ml#post8796681
Oops, I meant thru the Mercedes apps or remotely by internet. Thru the keyfob, yes you can raise and lower them. OP was alluding to a scenario where the windows rolled down possibly due to Mercedes Me network-wide issues but I don't think that's possible since it's not programmed to alllow controlling your windows thru the app or internet. Sorry for the confusion.

Window roll down
I had my cargo hatch open in my garage. I believe it may have been due to something in my pocket pushing and holding the key fob. Is it possible that this is what may of happened to you? I was also concerned , however, this is the only logical explanation.
In the case of US, apparently it is "for safety reasons" so it isn't offered there. The post you quoted, forum member elbekko seems to be from Belgium, makes sense that Europe has it.
