What kind of gas mileage is everyone getting? I have both a 2023 and 2024 GLE450. The 2023 has 11,000 miles on it and averages 24.2 mpg, the 2024 has 1,600 miles on it and averages only 21.2.
New 2024 GLE 450 purchased in September 2023. I have alot of in town short trip driving and one long trip. According to Mercedes Me, I have 4,051 miles, average speed of 32mph and average consumption of 19.8MPG. I should note that from time to time I turn off that auto stop/start.
Our 2020 450 would get low 20's in town, 28+ on the road and 32 at steady freeway speeds.(!) Overall about 24.
(The 450 got +2 compared to a GLE350 we had as a 1,000 mile loaner, also a surprise.)
Our 2021 AMG53 sees 18-19 in town, maybe 28 on the freeway, and 21 overall.
The 53 seems faster now at 32,000 miles, but somehow I've lost 3 mpg. I think my foot has gained weight.🤔

I have a 63S so I never look at gas mileage! It’s bad.
580 here, commuting in nyc traffic (8-9 miles, one hr) 12mpg, around town locally 15-16mpg, straight highway on the weekend cruising at 75-80mph with family, cargo, dog in tow 24-25mpg.

Guess I'm doing ok with the 63s. I drive her pretty hard and still pulling off an average MPG of 17. This was my biggest worry coming from my 450 but it's been better than expected!

Same with my 580. My avg speed is 19mph with short drives around 3-4 miles all local and I get around 13.5mpg -- this is like 80% of my miles. My freeway mpg is the same as yours and I drive around the same speed of 75-80.
With work from home and a lot of traveling, I only put around 4k-5k miles per year so not too worried about pump prices and terrible city gas mileage.

you should try the 450e. Last fill-up was Dec 7 over 2 months ago!! But on a long trip on interstate I got 28mpg (just gas engine)
For my SLK320, I kept all my fuel receipts, which correlated to filling the tank 99% of the time.
I kept the mileage for the current tank on the tripometer which I reset after each fill up.
If I forgot, I just subtracted the odometer reading, which I would write on each fuel receipt.
Around town I averaged high teens. 18mpg was the lowest I remember.
Highway was high 20’s. The highest highway mileage the Slk320 delivered was 31mpg

I just use gas buddy but now I am realizing how bad the app is for showing your MPG data. Going to find a better app today. Any suggestions out there? I see Drivvo and Fuelio both have over 1mil downloads on Android with 4.4-4.5 avg rating.
2022 GLE53 w 22", right at 2yrs since delivery. I drive in S+ 75pct of the time around town, mostly 45mph and under speed limits. Only do C for bad roads or highway over 45mph. I like to hear the exhaust music and with ARC this suv handles really well in the twisties. It's a blast to drive. Like @mikapen said earlier, it seems quicker now than early on.

My SLK350 is averaging 26.5 for the last 2000 miles. Certainly better than the GLE53 despite having a bigger engine (3.5 vs 3.0) Of course it is a much lighter car. I drive it only on weekends and in spirited
fashion.

SWEET Ride ! I miss my SLK55 .... That was my first AMG car and it was sooooo much fun. I swear it got worse fuel economy than my current GLE63 ! I remember cringing every time I looked at the fuel economy.... I dug this photo up from my phone archives, I've never seen this number (12.5MPG) in the 63.
