2024 GLE350 4Matic Rear Tires Bald at 7k??
So the outer walls are at 5 and the middle is bald, at 7k?! We took delivery with Bridgestone Alenza RFT (275/55/R19). Apparently, these tires are a new size for the GLE, the dealer ordered the wrong replacement tires. We figured we would get at least 25k with them being RFT’s, but 7k seems ridiculous. MB is trying to say that is not unreasonable for these tires, but any other tire shop is saying we should get more mileage. The tire shop also suggested rotating the tires every 3k, which is free, so that’s what I am going to do. Why are they putting on crappy tires and do you have any suggestions for the best tires for this car? We have a 3rd row, so no room for a spare, but I can always carry a can of fix a flat!! Thanks for any advice!

What pressure are you running in those tires?. Sounds like they have been grossly over inflated. Those tires probably came new with a tread depth of 10/32 so if you are down to 5/32 on the outside and bald in the middle at 7K miles there is a serious problem. Buy a Tirefit kit from the dealer or get something like this Airman pump with attached goop. Get rid of the runflats and buy a tire like the Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3. 7K miles even on a runflat is ridiculously low and your dealer knows it. Make sure that the wheel offsets are the same before rotating the tires. You will have to remove and remount the tires every time you rotate if the offset is different from front to back.

Sounds like a combination of too much tire pressure, and also too much load. Also a suspect wheel alignment.
That combination can wear out Tires in less than a thousand miles.

2023 GLE450, 2021 E350 / Used to drive: 2019 E300, 2021 + 2020 GLE350, 2019 E450 Wagon(s), 2017 E300
Got 32K miles out of the Pirelli Scorpion Zero 21" tires on our 2021 E350. Staggered size, so not rotated. Was surprised they went that long, but they did - not even to the wear bars yet, but they were getting squirrelly in the rain so got them replaced with same tires. 7K seems like a very very short life - I would have alignment checked and keep a close eye on tire pressure and wear pattens on the new tires. Funny that you mention the Bridgestone Alenza - had those in 20 inch RFT on my 2020 GLE350 and they were down to the wear bars at 22K miles - and they had been rotated religiously. So - the Bridgestones don't wear as well as the Pirellis, but they still should last longer than 7K miles.

As a +1 to the original post: 275/55R19 Bridgestone Alenza Sport A/S run-flat, GLE450e at 8000 miles over 3.5 months, 90% highway cruising in the western USA, tires at 36psi.
Front tires measure at 7/32, rear at 5/32. MB dealer says this is due to the vehicle weight.

Very likely, your tires were seriously over inflated. When I took delivery of my car, all 4 tires’ pressure were at 45-48 psi. For some reasons, dealers (and some people) loved to do this.

They do it because the cars will be sitting on the lot for a while. They however for some reason don't lower it back on delivery.

OP, like others mentioned check alignment, reduce load and check the cold tire pressure on the fuel door.

Also, pressure was good (not over inflated), alignment was good and no issues with the suspension. I do not have heavy loads, nothing on the roof or hitch, maybe some groceries or a golf bag now and then.
