I'm going to be doing my own oil changes and MB Canada does not want me to know which oil filter the 2024 GLE 450e uses. Looking online...nothing appears available. The engine is the same as in the GLE 350 with the 4 cylinders turbo...so, would this filter be correct to use? My plan is to do a oil change and filter within the first 3,000 miles after ??? breakin of the engine....then twice a year or every 5,000 miles. As an old oil guy...I like to get any contaminates out of my engine...cheap insurance, since I do it myself.
I will see if I can...they said it's not stocked yet, as they only do first change at 20,000 km...and cars are just arriving now in Canada. I'm there on Saturday to pick up the car...service department is not at same location, so see once I get my manual what filter is spec'd.
Thanks...but does not show it's for the 2024 GLE 450e Which is a GLE 350 4 cylinder turbo engine with the PHEV added onto it. I just was not certain they did not modify this engine for the 450e PHEV vehicle.
