2020 GLE580 Oil and Spark Plugs Change
The engine oil and filter change is for the M176.XXX engine. However, the WIS only has instructions for S-Class and G-Class vehicles with that engine. I have included both sets of instructions. The first (01) is for the S-Class cars and the second (02) is for the G-Class cars.
As a rule of thumb for direct injection engines, the spark plug should be indexed and torqued such that the open side of the ground strap is facing the fuel injector. The torque setting for the M176 engine is 22 Nm. You MUST use a Genuine or OE plugs.
Edit to add docs @streborx identified.

The part number for the spark plugs is 0001590500 or A0001590500. It appears that this plug is indexed. NGK 97566 and Bosch 96347 are both OE plugs and alternatives to Genuine Mercedes plugs. Personally, I have had better experience with the NGK plugs indexing properly.
This is the NGK OE plug, 97566.

I found the following WIS documents related to the M176 spark plugs through searching with a G550 (WDB463261):
AH15.10-P-0002-02A - Information on avoiding damage when replacing spark plugs - Model: All
AP15.10-P-1580C - Replace spark plugs - Model: 176 in model 167, 217, 222, 463 (also 177 in other models)
AR15.12-P-2008XGA - Remove/install ignition coils of left cylinder bank - Model: 176 in model 463 as of model year 2019
AR15.12-P-2009XGA - Remove/install ignition coils of right cylinder bank - Model: 176 in model 463 as of model year 2019
I can post the first 2 documents that apply to the 167 if there's interest, or they can be accessed directly by entering the document number in the WIS search facility. I suspect the last 2 documents are similar to what's required on the 167, and are different in describing what's required for spark plug access.
Curiously, none of the documents discuss indexing. The corresponding spark plug number spec'd in the EPC is A0001590500, as noted above, but there is no "do not substitute" notation. Perhaps inasmuch as WIS/ASRA/EPC is dealer targeted, the WIS editors assume OE parts will always be used, and any information about indexing and substitute parts is unwarranted.
Nevertheless, JettaRed's post immediately above should be observed (looks like RockAuto?).
