Unrelated Features Not Working After Map Update
Did a North America all regions map update from a USB, 32 gig worth. After it loaded I was prompted to restart the system. Now the traffic light view doesn't work. I went in to the system settings and verified it's still set to automatic, even turned it off and back on. The entertainment audio also seems to be stuck in speed compensated adjustment which annoys the hell out of me because it's either too soft or too loud. The only relationship I can think of is the system restart. I am hesitant to do a complete reset but that's my next step. Has anyone experienced weird unexpected software glitches and found a "oh I didn't think of that" fix?

For the others, yes it's simply a forced restart /reboot of the system with no settings lost. I don't know why but whenever I have my car washed, around half the time I get System Inoperative in red letters and a blank screen. Doing this reboot fixes it each time. The system reboots pretty quick. I've done it while reversing and backup cams restart in 4 seconds while mbux takes 10-11 seconds. So if you have to do it on the go or while driving, it's not too problematic to do so.

What does the above underlined mean?

Interesting (bolded). I've had a three similar instances, and two were immediately after a car wash. The other the next morning, having gone directly home after the wash.
Twice it was the reversing camera. Once the seat/steering wheel stayed back/up on the Exit position. Yes, it leaves codes.
I was starting to see a correlation.
I wonder if others have had similar post car wash experiences.
