2020 GLE 350 New Owner - Guide Me :)
It took me only 15 months to find the right one (kind of settled, but good enough) with the right options, because my kids are picky, and in great condition. Previous vehicle was a 2018 GLC with 106k miles and started to have the infamous Fuel Pressure jerking issue and it stalled on me 4 times while driving, yay. I feel like i got a good/decent deal on this GLE and hope to keep it around 3-5 years as it will probably be driven 20k miles/year. I am posting here to request guidance/tips/warranty referral.

As for the GLC 300 you had, what fuel pressure jerking issue was it? I mostly hear of piston cracking issue on the M274 and very common fuel smell issue (there was a recall for the latter).

Any recommended hacks?
Should I purchase the MB entertainment tablets for the second row?
Any California warranty vendors?
Any dashcam recommendations that integrate well with this vehicle?
Should I be worried about the age of the vehicle?
CE light was on the GLC and it basically acted like it was choking and sitting idle it would be jerking. While driving, if stalled, gas or shifting would be unresponsive and slow down until I came to full stop and try to restart. Recently not even fully turning over unless I let it sit for a few mins. The GLC also has a crank sensor issue if I'm not mistaken.

Do you have kids that benefit from the tablets? Do you go on long road trips?
Warranty vendors? Hmmm, not sure which ones the vehicle will qualify not being a CPO by a MB dealership but you can always try forum sponsor @Highline-Autos.com
Dashcam wise, it won't be integrated but: https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...ml#post9037758
Worried about the age of the vehicle? If there are no factory defects or mechanical issues it should be fine.

I received the car this morning and I am very happy with this tank. Compared to the GLC, more tech luxury, comfort and space, i believe it's an absolute perfect vehicle and really understand why I see 20-30 a day when on the road. The specs I ended up with were sufficient enough to get the job done and being black/black makes it even look prestigious.
However, few minor issues... The airmatic button does not seem to do anything? Car on or off, any driving mode, park/drive... thoughts?
I am receiving a warning for the 12v battery, i guess it will need to be replaced?
Thank you Trenton, i received your email and I will respond in the next day or so.

The 12v battery isn't that hard to change yourself, it's a little under $200 at local auto stores. The battery is under the driver seat, so you have to move the seat and take apart some of the trim, but overall not too bad.
Do you know if it has had any engine work on it, specifically cylinder head work? That is pretty common with this engine model.
There have been AC issues, cylinder head, premature wearing of the CV boots, SD card malfunction that has a recall, just not on mine, and now the steering wheel complex makes a horrible clicking sound when hitting any uneven roads or bumps...which is pretty much all the time. That's just the main things.
I hope for your sake that you have an easy time with your vehicle and that you love it throughout your ownership that you probably love it right now, but get a warranty.

For me, an ASA certified tech, former shop owner with a $30,000 tool inventory, ANY newer car model needs a extended warranty/service policy.
Name the Brand, and the number of annual major recalls (AKA $$$$$) is probably excessive. Something that Consumer reports and JD Power seem to ignore on their "reliability reports."
