If you're referring to Buick, then no. Those cars are often driven with the blinker on at all times....
Getting back on topic, the GLE turn signal is hard to hear. And in my case, the steering wheel hides the indicators on the dash because of where I have it adjusted. I wish the indicators were along the bottom of the screen.

I wonder if custom coders can adjust the volume.
The facelift GLE might have turn signals shown on the assistance graphic view, the little vehicle in the middle shows the turn signal flashing.

Especially because of my torn rotator cuffs, I choose to position the steering wheel where I can't see the turn signals.
Plus I rely on my head-up display and look at the dash less frequently.
And even with the acoustic package, the turn signals are unnoyingly polite.
I even thought the heavy duty turn signal flasher unit I installed in my 63 Land Cruiser was beneficial because I could hear the clicker better.
The obvious fix would be to integrate the signal into the HUD and/or make the volume adjustable via the existing MBUX system. MBUX already permits us to adjust not only the parking proximity volume setting but also the pitch of the parking warning tones.
The profile of the typical MB owner skews toward the 55-75 age range, during which hearing are related hearing impairments are well documented. The placement of the turn arrows on the dashboard frequently blocks the driver's view of the indicators when the steering wheel is in use. The current sound level is so low that MB might as well omit the audio.
