GLE 350 4MATIC
Those with regular sunroofs, favor to ask
So, I just got my GLE back from the dealer. My sunroof does not appear to be sealed but the dealer said "this is normal" (apparently they did a test drive of other GLEs). My issue is:
1. Sunroof closed> open sunroof (whether its 1inch or all the way)>close=> proper seal, very little road noise.
2. sunroof close> open sunroof using VENT setting > close vent=> now you can hear excessive road noise to the point that there is concern over leaking in the winter/snow.
Can those of you with a regular sunroof (not pano) do me a favor and see if this happens to y ou? Open and close it completely, listen, then try open/close vent, see what you hear, then open/close again and see if it's gone.
This is the video I took and showed to the dealer, he said he noticed it. Keep the bass off and you'll hear it more clearly.
Thanks in advance! Also, those with the ML350, can you see if this happens to you?
