Rear squeaking noise
Anyone know what the creaking /squeaking could be? I recall reading a previous thread about door seals needing to be lubricated sometimes, but this seems to be from the rear, and almost sounds like the shocks or struts making the noise, and it is definitely coming from the rearmost part of the car.

I asked a friend of mine to drive the car, so I can hear where the noise is coming from. It was coming from everywhere near the headliner/sunroof area.
Decided to take it to a different dealer. Took them 2 days and fixed the problem. They did not tell me the specific. Something was loose in the headliner/sunroof. Make sure you take it to a dealer that knows what they are doing.

Hope this info can help.

My other complaints were poo-poo'd, especially the worrisome one about the brakes. My problem is sometimes they do not function properly, in that they grab and make braking very jerky. My wife asked if I was doing it on purpose because it was so awful He incorrectly wrote that the brakes will develop a layer of rust which will affect operation when first used in the morning. While this is a true statement, it is completely unrelated to the operational issues I am having with the brakes. They are hybrid in nature, and do not engage in the same way regular brakes do. There is no contact absent hard braking, as the braking is regenerative and pressing the brakes results in electrical regeneration not created by contact with the rotors. Given that he also mentioned "spare tire area" in his notes, I am pretty sure he the tech does not work on a lot of hybrids, as there is no spare. The persistent rattle was ascribed to water bottles and some miscellaneous objects in the car. The water bottles were new, and the rattle preceded my putting them in the car. The other objects had already be removed by me to test the noise. Fortunately (or unfortunately) the rattle is intermittent, so it has not shown up in a day or two. I will follow up if it comes back.
At least the major squeaking/creaking is gone, and the other issues are intermittent. I had forgotten to mention how loud the massaging seat is when my wife uses it. I have no idea if that is normal...
