2017 GLE 350 Selenite Grey 15 CLS400 Avalon 2013 XTS
Order GLE350 advices needed.

Order a new GLE350 a week ago, we only add pano roof and P2 package. Coming from a CLS we knew some option we would never use nor wanted to pay extra for. So we drop the tow hitch, Cabin-air purification system, prewiring, Ventilated front seats(they are useless), running board(they hit my calf). So with out all those option. we got a GLE with P2 Selenite Grey and Espresso MB Tex for $60,925. Our sale guy (3rd MB he's sold us) said at least 9 to 12 weeks. Now with all that I'm having some second though. I didn't order the 20" wheel because they made my Tahoe ride so rough and 19" was hopefully less so. Now I'm think it might not be a bad option to get for $750. Anyone went from the 19" to 20" and if so what was the ride quality like. Next is order to delivery taking three month this far along in the model year? Finally we softly agree on the price we would pay. That offer was accepted dependent on what incentive are available on delivery, and if they effect the deal positively or negatively. Current offer was a extra $1000 from MB he'd kicked in to meet our offer. I feel strongly I left $1500 on the table and will try to get it before we sign for the car. Would that be possible to reneged on the deal we made verbally and refuse to take the car unless he meet my price target. We are at 14.7% off and I've seen 17.2% off on some deals on Edmund sites for leased car deals in So/Cal.

First of all ask your sales guy when he is taking 2018 orders? They should start anytime now with a June-July delivery.

That is is how I bought mine last year, Mercedes was reluctant to order too early, they wanted the current year Incentive.

I am am glad I stuck to my guns because I did not want a year old car in 6 months.

That might not be the best for my circumstance. I plan on keeping the car, my wife is retiring soon and I'm already. So model year has no meaning to us now, this will be her car for the next 10 years. We don't want to spend over a fix amount for it and we are on target. I don't think there will be any change for 2018 other than minor tweaks. I would likely pay more money for a 2018 with nothing to show for it value wise. I want be trading the car, probably give to my granddaughter, the Class 2032. More importantly the likelihood of getting 14% off on a new model year is nil. Our strategy when we order it last week, was to time the delivery/purchase near Memorial Day hoping for a nice MB sales incentive.

If you did not sign anything it means no deal. can be backed out of no problem at all.

19" will ride better I'm sure!, more sidewall, I have the 20" and with the 265/45 tire it's just a touch too hard I find, even with Airmatic. the 20" just looks better.

A gaggle of MB's
Get the 20"'s and never look back... agreement is agreement mutually understood based on Mercedes incentives that are available on month of delivery... no one in their right mind would ever expect May incentives to be less than Feb...

Next model year delivery is planned to start delivery end-Aug.. to correct a previous post..

Mercedes GLE 350d 4Matic
I test drove 19'', my GLE has the 20". With 20" it's comfortable enough and is significantly more stable and with less bodyroll especially in speedy turns on the highway.

2017 GLE 350 Selenite Grey 15 CLS400 Avalon 2013 XTS

Got my build date email yesterday for April 20, with a possible delivery 5/15.
992 Selenite Grey
114 Espresso Brown MB-Tex
PO-2
Keyless Go
Multi Color light
etc etc etc
R39 19" 5 spoke wheels
413 Panaorama Roof
55U Porcelain Headliner
Which I'd didn't notice until today. But I found one on line and it does look pretty good with the seat color.

Price was agreed upon today and sales manager signed off. He wouldn't move on our early agreed price and actually tried to decrease discount by 0.75%. Maybe a game they will try when car arrives.

How much discount where you able to get? I wish I had order the stitching wrapped dashboard, but I never knew it was an option.

So for the lease I was only able to get 9% off. I am going to try one more time to get 10% but I think prices have stableized a little since the holidays. During the holidays you could have easily gotten 12%-17% off. For the lease I was able to get a MF of .00047. I also built the car exactly how I wanted it and they know the car I built I could only get if I custom ordered it so they kind of have the upper hand on that one. Also has far as the wheels go the 20's are just as comfortable as the 19's in my mind. The thing you should look st is the air suspension that is what makes a major difference in the ride quality! But if you are buying for long term make sure you get the extended warranty as the air suspension usually goes out around 100k.

Well our car is built and should be shipping any day to So/Cal. My question is when to get my financing completed? Any advice should I wait until delivery, or go ahead get the approval now. I'm purchasing and not leasing, so I'd like to shop around some. I don't want to many hard pulls, before I give MB a credit app. Also I really don't want to spend my money, if I can get some low interest money financing the car. Not a real problem, just my first time ordering and not picking the car off the lot. Don't want any surprise upon delivery, we've been like kids waiting for 12/25 with this truck.
