Hello All,

Just about to take delivery of a 2017 GLE, Polar white. I'm still trying to figure out if i should select the white or black California lic plate.
Would love to hear everyone's opinion. I don't plan on adding one to the front, only the back.

I vote for white. A license plate is not something that's supposed to be ostentatious. You don't want to accentuate it. Would you wear florescent orange shoes with an Armani suit? Of course not. The shoes should compliment the suit, not overpower it. My car is Polar white as well. If you want to add a little flare without being too conspicuous, get one of these. This is what I have. Notice how thin the frame is. It's one of the few I've seen that doesn't partially obscure any info on the plate.

Get a white one and then buy one of the smoke colored plastic covers to put on it Problem solved.

looking at the pics again, I'd go white or silver. Black looks too old school with the yellow letters.

thanks everyone. Unfortunately California does not have a silver option for a lic plate. Here is what we have. I was flip flopping on #1 white/blue letters or #3 black/yellow letters.

I know someone will say, get #2, white with snoopy.

I still say black. Or the trees. The trees are fitting for California and take that from someone on the right coast. Haha

As you can see, opinions differ wildly. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is what YOU think. Get whichever one YOU like best and don't worry about other people's opinions.

How many here in Cali are running with no front plates? Didn't want to drill holes in the front amg exterior front bumper.
