Pricing Change?

Been looking to do a build for my wife. 2017 GLE 350 Package 3 and all the goodies comes to about $75-76k

Pricing has been 10-15% off but the last week or so its been impossible to get more than 6% off.

Willing to pull the trigger on a 15% discount with a vehicle in final year of production but definitely not 6%.

Anyone know what happened to GLE pricing all of a sudden?

I also had a choice between a 2017 or 2018 build. Wasnt told about any difference. Was more concerned about better price on 2017 build.

What rcsjr said is correct. Try the end of the month again and try a lot of different dealerships.
Also, at that price range, why not consider the next GLE up?
Good luck

A gaggle of MB's
Well.... buying a build-to-order GLE at invoice price frankly most would see as a "solid"proposal.

The 2017's will be built between now and 1st decade June - and changeable build slots are available today from 1st decade May thru that 1st decade June.

After June 10/final MY17 - 2018's will go into production and be stacked up a bit for MY18 release end-July/early-Aug.

If you're shopping "big bucks" - then needs to be in-stock-right-there with a motivated dealer month-end or ment-end-end-of-quarter

I just did a little recon for you and in socal you can easily get 10% off any gle. It is true though when you do a custom build they have the power and can stick it to you. I just picked up my custom build GLE 350 4Matic two weeks ago. Sticker was 71,935 and I got it for 63,340. So I was at about 12% off. I have heard people getting 15-17% off but that was more during the holidays and end of year specials. If you want to order a car PM me and I can set you up with the person I deal with. They sell cars to people all over the us MB of Escondido. My family has been buying cars from them for the past 15 years. I would say that anything around 10% off on a custom build is a great deal. Good luck! Let me know if I can help!

I see your post and you are very knowledgeable about build date for these car. Question; our dealer said our GLE 350 was scheduled for 4/19 build date does that mean it will be completed on that day or is that only a start date. Any information is appreciated. I wasn't nearly this watchfully on the closing date for my house. I understand why people would rather go on the lot and pick out a car and go home.

I have reached an agreement with my dealer but they cant commit to a 2018 build because while they have info on 2018's, there is no pricing yet. I have been told there are definitely upgrades for 2018's. Is there anymore info out there yet?

If you look in the GLC forum there is a thread called GLC MY 2018 Dealer Ordering Guide - Mar 14th 2017 that mid way through has the GLE 2018 order guide. There aren't really any notable change except for the GLE43 getting a hp bump to 385.

WTF! That's the HP the 2017 GLE43 should have had from the start. Hate it when they do that!

Don't see the $625 'U21 AMG Performance Exhaust' option for the GLE63 models. Wonder if now standard?

I finally received adequate pricing for 2017 build, but decided to go with 2018. Waiting for pricing to be finalized to proceed. Dealer is not sure if same discount will be applied to 2018 build. There is a question if incentives will hold or not. Id be interested in what your guy has to offer.

Do you have the guild for my18 GLE Coupe? I actually just ordered one, but the dealer doesn't seem to have that info.

Thanks
