Hello I purchased a 3rd party illuminated star from eBay. There is two wire red (positive) and black (negative). I'm trying to connect the red wire into headlight wire but can't seem to find the positive wire. I know the black wire i can basically connect to any nut area. If there are color code would be super help!!
So I was able to figure out myself. Spend about 1 hour trying to figure where is the positive wire and how to perfect wire. Finally figure out. Here is the result!
I order from MB a fuse blade and connection (A0045456401 and A0115458426) for about 20$. (You don't need it if a blade already exist in the spare) I use the spare F233 in the fuse boxe (drill a hole and use hot clue to seal it). The start will light up when the car start or on On position and turn off 30sec after the car is turn off. It takes about an hour to setup, max 2 hours.

Any chance you can take a picture of how you wired inside the fuse box and the best ground location?
I didnt use the fuse Method, i figure is too long process and too much. I just connect my red wire into headlight. The wire color should be Gray color with white straps.

Its been a while I believe the the postive wire in my case were gray with white strips. If you follow my pictures i post. Isn't hard to find out just takes some time.
