New to me 300d

I bought a new to me 300d. We should pick it up in a few days:

Polar White
Ginger Beige/Espresso Brown leather interior
Premium Pack
Carplay
Distronic
Parktronic
Adaptive LEDs
Surroundview camera
Heated/Cooled seats and cupholders
Bling - chrome, illuminated star, etc.

Dealer will install new tires.

Missing running boards and panoramic roof, but I think nicely equipped overall.

Any suggestions for me? How do you like your bluetec?

30K miles. The car was originally bought and maintained by the same dealer it's whole life. It's been at the dealer at least 8 times over it's life so I figure that's a good sign.

I also have an E250 (same engine and transmission) and I plan to maintain it myself. First thing is an oil/filter change, air filter and fuel filter and brake fluid. I know it's a bit early for the fuel filter, but I'd like to get a clean start with this car.

Open to other suggestions.

Thanks!

So far I've got 200 miles or so on the car at an average of 30.5mpg. The diesel drivetrain is a good option on this car. The car feels peppy, and once your up to speed it's very quiet and poised.

I had the car at the dealer today for an oil change.

I'm impressed by the technology in the car, particularly: Distronic, Active LED Headlights, surround view camera and Apple CarPlay

Some pictures attached. If you have a 300d, tell me about your ownership experience so far!

Yours looks a lot like our 2016, which is white with brown MB Tex seats. It has about 43,000 miles and has been very reliable. The only two problems we have had are with the sunroof. The switch broke during the first year, and recently the roof failed to close completely, which we need to take it to the dealer to fix. The only service, other then the 10,000 mile maintenance, has been rear brake pads. Fuel mileage is terrific, and we have had no problems whatsoever in cold weather. I don’t like the running boards; all they do is get your pant legs dirty.

We’re set to trade ours in on a 2020 GLE 450, if they ever get it built. We ordered it in May and now they say it will be built in October.

Really enjoy mine. I had Distronic on my 2011 e350 BlueTec and it is a must have in our house.

I got mine in Sep19 with 32k miles. In one year we’ve managed 11k miles, averaging in the upper 20s in mileage. I had to adjust the headlights as I felt they were dangerously low, we have the active LED as well.

My only disappointment is the standard sound system doesn’t sound great for a Benz.

Looking to to get a hitch added.

congrats and welcome!

Anyone purchase an extended warranty from Mercedes? I'm considering it.

I have a 2016 GLE300d which just turned 71K miles and has been completely trouble free. I think this drive train is the same one that comes in some of the Sprinter vans and has to work for hundreds of thousands of miles in those. Maybe that will help with an extended warranty decision.
I'm envious of your feature set. I only have Parktronic that I'm almost afraid to use and a few other basic features.

The surround view camera is terrific -- it makes parktronic completely unnecessary.

We took delivery of our new 2020 GLE 450 this week. It was kind of sad to turn over our 2016 300d because I it was a great car. The only problem we had was a sunroof that would not close properly, and the only maintenance we had, other than the 10, 20, 30, and 40,000 mile services, were new rear brake pads earlier this year.

If anyone is interested, I suspect that because it was in such good shape, our 300d will show up as a CPO vehicle at MB of Sioux Falls (SD) pretty soon.
