Want to install “true” fog lights on 2016 GLE 350
Hello everyone! Has anyone installed true front fog lights on their GLE 350?
If anyone has, and would be willing to share any details, that would be very much appreciated.
I tried this kind of work myself when I was in my teens, and was never happy with my “not professional” results!

Welcome!
You can buy a wireless switch from amazon and universal fog light from ebay. I took 12 V power from the fuse box and connected the wireless switch there. No need to thread the wire through the firewall. Simple setup

No worries. I took the power source from the engine compartment fuse box and added a fuse between the power source and the wireless switch. Regarding wiring, you need to run the wire from the fog light to the wireless switch there is a lot of space you can find to thread the wire, and 2nd set of wiring you need to connect the power source to the wireless switch. That's it, I used velcro to stick my remote switch close to the headlight switch knob ( Left side of the steering ). You can use a key chain but I prefer to be close to the light switches.

In my previous ML I tapped the relay/ circuit for the rear fog light so it was all factory looking. The front fogs came on with th rear fogs

I can't even remember if it was this forum or not, but is there an aftermarket source to get the fuse holders that plug into the fuse panel? I recall, somewhere, that it provided a fuse while "properly" tapping a power source. I'd like to add fog or driving lights myself.
