GLE 2020 Tire and shop recommendation
Currently have Bridgestone Duelers on a GLE 350 4Matic. Got around 50K from them - but they are now worn down competelely.

- Any recommendations for new tires?
- In terms of where to buy, I tend to gravitate towards Costco due to the the tire warranty but their choices are limited. Is Tire Rack a decent alternative? Can we still get mileage warranty there?

Questions:
a. Run-flat or non run-flat?
b. Type of driving? Highway, off-road, enthusiastic, etc?
c. What tire traits are most important? Tread life? Noise? Traction?
d. Is Bridgestone the preferred brand or would other brands be acceptable?

For your car, V167, the front and rear axle differ a bit, if I'm not mistaken, whereas for W166 (this forum) they are identical. The V167 forum can be found from here https://mbworld.org/forums/gle-class-v167-250/

When the Michelins that came on mine wore out I bought Bridgestone Duelers. I've had them on my trucks going back to the 1990's. They've always been good tires. I've been getting tires from Discount Tire for a long time too. Their service is quick and their prices are very reasonable.

Even though this inquiry is posted in the W166 forum rather than the V167 forum, here are some ideas for tire research.
On the Tire Rack site, find Research & Advice then choose Tire Decision Guide. Answer the questions and it will recommended tires based on your answers and their testing and surveys.
Once you have decided on a tire, check prices and warranty terms at Discount Tire, Tire Rack and (if applicable) Costco.

Thanks Either is fine. Mainly highway driving. Less Noise is the most desirable trait. No preferred brand

Whereas GLE W166 (this forum) was manufactured in 2015-2018. From https://www.wheel-size.com/size/merc...166-2015-2019/ we can see that the rims and wheels are the same for front and back, regardless of the wheel size.
