You rotate tires after how many miles? How much at the MB dealer?

I rotate mine every 5000 miles. I do it at home - not at the dealer. I also have my alignment checked/done every 2 years at a local shop that I know does good work. The alignment is not always off but since paying almost $1000 for tires, it seems prudent to spend a little ($70) periodically to help them last longer.

Make sure the tire center uses flower lug socket to remove the bolts if you don't plan to go to the dealer.

This is perfect opportunity for DIYer to check brakes and other stuff and also wash the rims inside.
I rotate whenever it is convenient. MB sedans come with negative camber and rears always show bold inner sides before the rest need attention. Rotating makes the wear even around.
I own GLE for short time, so have to see the wear pattern.

Now the often quoted (reassuring) FULL FRONT & REAR ’4’ WHEEL ALIGNMENT - the reality is it is only basic Toe / directional adjustment!
No longer Camber (or Caster) to adjust tire contact angles, spread load more evenly to cater for other then showroom height conditions.
High cambered roads with excess passenger side edge wear, altered height through load carrying or lowering fitting wide profile tires. Curb knocks. Excess edge load can also lead to higher impact damage with ruptured side walls.
