Anyone knows if we can fit a 19" rims on the 43? There is a nice winter set I found locally. I know from previous attempt on my ML350 a 18" wheel wont fit because of the brakes. Not sure if 19" will.
I tried a 19" wheel and it wont fit. This is however on a aftermarket wheel. I tried another 19" (TSW) and it only have like 2mm gap between the caliper. I think it really depends on the wheel design and how it is formed. The tire shop told me dont risk it as you never know what can get caught in there and it might damage the caliper so 20" would be the minimum for the gle43. I have a old set of 20" glk rims in prestine condition so I decided not to sell it and just use it for winter setup. It should fit a 255 on that 8.5" rim and it has a 45 offset so it should almost be like stock afterwards. I do believe non amg variants like the 350 and 400 have a 20" non amg wheel option that has 255 tires on it.

Looks like I'll be listing the GLS winter tires and rims I picked up earlier this summer.
We loved our GLK, however, needed something larger. The GLE43 was an awesome deal; the Audi dealership needed it off their lot as it outshone all their Q5s. We opted to go with Michelin CrossClimate 2 All-Season Tires. All reviews were positive and they have the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

I have a GLE 400 but the Canadian spec 400s have the 43 brakes (rotors and pads at least) which I found out the hard way when I ordered the smaller size on RockAuto and they did not fit. @sebalex I see you're in Ontario - if you're in the GTA feel free to come test fit my 19s on your car!

Are these OEM rims? Can you post pics of the rims you are talking about? The aftermarket ones I tried did not fit.
Sorry I don't know how to make these pictures smaller. The pic with my dog is a set of OEM 19s off an ML, and the other pic is of the factory 19s. I only have the Premium Package so no AMG goodies, but the rotors are the larger 43 AMG size based on the replacement rotors I bought.
Edit: I checked my purchase history and can confirm that I ordered up 375/345mm front/rear rotors that matched my factory rotors.

Only a little? Here's a pic I took of a 43 AMG (non-coupe) when I was double checking my rotor size. It's on the factory 20s and the caliper-wheel clearance looks just a tad bigger than my setup.
I decided to use a 20" GLK AMG rim on the GLE 43. I do need to use the GLK bolts as the GLE bolts wont work on the rims (goes further in). Spec of the GLK rims are 8.5" 45 offset. Tire I'm putting at is 255/50 on it.
