C292 2017 AMG43 GLE coupe turn signal color issues
Had a local technician remove the front left LED headlamp unit to repair a cracked point on the glass and upon test after re-installation, the turn signal color changed to violet.
can anybody advise on the way to solve this color issue?

I actually got a full headlamp unit from ebay that had some sockets that didn’t match mine, so I was advised to surgically cannibalize the glass from the ebay unit to mine, as other than the cracked glass, it was working just fine. They did that & it was quite a good job.

I don’t know if the glass or acrylic could affect the color of the led beneath? It’s not unheard of, but seeing it would definitely provide some credence either way. Or, by simply unplugging the unit, maybe some coding defaulted back to a factory or default state, which changed the color.

That’s interesting. Is the daytime running light still good? I assume the turn signal and DRL are the same?
It definitely doesn’t seem to be the headlight cover causing the discoloration and more LED related itself. I really don’t know what to say. Maybe by unplugging it the light or coding defaulted to a preset color. It’s either that or the bulb is going bad. Too bad MB restricts coding. If this were any other German brand it would have been easy to see there was a factory default setting for that light strip.

The DRL works just fine being white. SCN coding was suspected too by the technician initially but if that doesn't have to be the case, another Benz user saw it as being dope and recommended to unplug the right headlamp unit too, to make both display violet upon signalling.
