Our ML 350 has 81K miles, starting to get costly for repairs and maintenances so finally decided to sell our 2015 ML350 -> 2024 GLE. Had it about couple days and been enjoying a lot, although there is a feature that’s kinda bothering me a lot. There is a couple of times when we park and run errand, I get out of the car with the car running while wife is in passenger side. However, as soon as the driver door opens, the car will shut off soon after EVEN if I leave the key fob inside the car purposely. Came back to the car with my wife staring at me with a WTF face because A/C got turned off LOL
I browsed through the settings in the car but couldn't seem to find a way to deactivate this feature. Is this possible?? Any tip/recommendation is greatly appreciated!

When were the main and aux batteries last replaced?
It is meant to shut off because of the "start/stop" feature. Just disable it when you exit the car and wish it to remain running. I do it all the time.
