8/3/2023 software update for communication module
I got a message yesterday that there is a new software update for the communications module for my 22 GLE 53. Wondering if anyone else had received this update and if they knew what changes were in it? TIA

There's another thread going in the V167 forum. 580's, 450's are getting the update as well, but no input yet about what it addresses.

Well, after 2 days (closer to 3) of seeing the update software message, my car still hasn't installed it.
Not sure how mb's update process works, but I'll just have to be patient. Map updates go quicker it seems. I didn't really pay attention to how long the previous Communications module update took. It was also probably a 3 to 5 Day event before it updated.

2024 GLE 53 AMG Coupe
So I opened my Mercedes Me Connect app to do a remote start and I noticed the update went away while I was on the home screen. When I checked the over the air updates section, it did not show it was installed. I wonder if MB removed the update?

It’s been a month and no update here. I think others may have received it, so not sure what’s going on. I’m heading to the parts department this week, so may ask my SA if they know what the status may be. No big deal but figured I’d update in case others were waiting too.

While looking for info on a 2024 "Communications Module" update that just came through for my 2024 GLC300, I came across info on the 2023 update that may be useful to members who were seeking info on this 2023 update.
