Price for 2024 GLE53/GLE63s
Recently, I am considering buying the 2024 GLE53 or GLE63s. I saw that the sticker price of the GLE53 is 10k markup. I declined and asked my sales and he said the best they could do was customize the MSRP of the vehicle.
Is it the same for everyone? Thank you in advance.

I'm glad to hear you declined. For the amount of current inventory and availability of the GLE53, there should be NO markup on that vehicle. For some people, the 2024 facelift wasn't a drastic change that would make them want a 2024 over a 2023. Granted, some people have been getting a few thousand off GLEs. I would not do more than MSRP. It's a matter of finding the vehicle you want and also finding a dealer that is not going to charge over MSRP for it. And don't be afraid to walk away from a crappy deal.

Besides any markup you have to contend with Interest rates that have literally doubled since second quarter of 2022 as well. In addition to the almost 10% higher MSRP compared to a 2022.

From what I've heard, most dealers are willing to give more discounts once you decide to finance with them. However, you can payoff in next month and it can save a lot.
I always negotiate with dealer about the lowest OTD price first and payment will be the 2nd step.
some of them may ask me to buy extra packages.

I ordered my 2022 63 coupe on 4/14/2022 and it arrived 7/25/2022 which is lightning fast. I ordered every option including Burmester 3D but passed on running boards and front ceramic brakes. Back then it was still up in the air if it would come as ordered and fortunately it did. I did have to pay a 12K ADM which I felt was reasonable during that time and given the circumstance I got exactly what I wanted in a very short period of time. Good luck on your quest as well.

Hi ICIsles - that a good deal. I ordered a 24 GLE 53 in NH and they wouldn't budge from MSRP. Only one other dealer in state, so...small puddle here. Not coming in until third week of Nov (10/24 build date). Will work on them again when it arrives on the OTD, or see what I can get off PPD service. There will be more 53's on lots by then.

If you can order customized GLE53 with 2k discount, it sounds great. Usually, most of dealers don’t provide any discount for customized one.
When I read my order pdf file, the last sentence is as following:
*Pricing is subject to change. Mercedes-Benz reserves the right to make changes without notification
so I think the final price will need to negotiate when the car arrives. If they insist on markup, I may change my mind to buy cayenne. I will update it.

About 2% would be stuff I wouldn't order, so it's pretty much a wash.

Ordered my GLE63s in Sept 23, Came in early Jan ‘24.
They tried a 30k over MSRP, told them the dealership down the road offered to build it for MSRP. They agreed, built it and I paid MSRP and got cash above ask (around 7k) towards my old one.
Never have I ever.. paid above MSRP for a car.

I just purchased a 2024 GLE 63 S AMG SUV last week. In my experience, most dealerships are willing to deal on in stock inventory but none of them that I touched bases with were willing to take anything below MSRP for a special order vehicle. None of them that I talked to asked for any markups on a special order, all of them were asking MSRP.
I ended up getting $6,000.00 off of an in stock fully loaded 2024 GLE 63 S AMG SUV at MB of Shreveport, it was a 200 mile drive but it was worth it to get a vehicle with all of the options I wanted.
My advice is to shop around and see if anyone has an in stock GLE that you want and try to bargain with them.

I have a 14 month old 63S that is loaded and has a full wrap with ceramic including eg 22” black wheels that I don’t use. Sits in a garage and never seen rain or any other weather other than sunshine. It’s a steal with full warranty. Anyone interested?

Just agreed to a deal in RI for $7,500 off MSRP. Dealer offered $5k off, but I had just paid $2k worth of service and a new key fob, so they agreed to knock that off the price. I then used the Morgan Stanley Reserve discount of $3k. Dealer said they had included a $2500 mfr rebate in my $5k discount and said they can’t stack rebates, so they honored the $3k Morgan Stanley rebate to make it $7500 off (thought I was going to be at $10k when I saw the MS rebate, but alas …).
Will be paying $93k for a well-optioned truck when I take delivery.
