MY GLE63S Coupe Build
Currently have 22 GLE53 Coupe with 20K Miles. My intention is to trade-in the vehicle next summer when this builder is delivered.
Let me know how you feel about this build?

I thought you wanted green color for your next vehicle?

I did, but I’m a bit nervous on on 2 levels.
1. There a no do-overs. What if I don’t like it. The website doesn’t really have a good representation in the configurator. I’ve seen it on a GLS. It looks good, but it is a larger, family vehicle.
2. I wonder if it will effect resale value.

2024 GLE 53 AMG Coupe
It will be a nice build and I like it, but I feel like black is very common and it won't stand out much. I have a 21 GLE 350 in Obsidian black, night package AMG line and 20 inch wheels and it blends in with all the other GLEs on the road. I do love the color when the sun hits it, but at the end of the day it mostly looks like black and blends in. I had a 2023 GLE 450 loaner in emerald green and it was a beautiful color! In the dark it looks almost black with a hint on green, but when the sun hits the green really pops and it's a nice emerald/jade looking green. I would have went with either emerald green or the cardinal red for my GLE 53 Coupe build, but when I saw the twilight blue in person, I fell in love. You can always check Autotrader and see what dealers have listings for other GLEs in the colors you want. That was how I was able to narrow mine down to emerald green, cardinal red, and twilight blue.
I see you went with a natural grain wood trim. I had a natural grain wood trim in my 2017 E300 and by the time the lease was ending, the black stain or paint (or however they change the color of the wood) was coming off on under the AC vents. Even with a slight finger wipe to remove dust would end up taking the black color off the wood. I am not sure how they hold up now, but I refuse to get natural grain wood in any MB vehicle due to this reason.
Also I am in Florida and having an all black car makes the car super hot during the summer/fall-ish months. These past few months have barely been bearable even with the remote start. I have a 2024 GLE 53 Coupe on order and went with the Twilight Blue on red, night package and 22 inch forged black wheels, carbon fiber trim and carbon fiber steering wheel, and drivers assistance package. Sure it is no 63, but for the price we are paying for these vehicles, might as well have them stand out. At the end of the day you need to get what makes you happy.

O. Black/Black Diamond Napa, Acoustic Comfort, although I have Natural Walnut.
I chose the night package and no running boards, but it was a toss up with no night package and running boards.
I think I still prefer the all black - I'd go with chrome and running boards on a gray car. The coupe has different lines than my suv, so that's a consideration.
And I got 21's for the increased tire selection. I wish I had got the 22s, because 21s aren't enough tire at the track.
I expected the 21s to tramline, but they don't, so that that that doesn't seem to be a consideration.
You'll love it!

Obsidian black is similar in the way it reflects color.
It looks blacker than black, and then has a gold hue in changing light.
I like chameleon colors. Emerald green, obsidian black, and Mojave silver all have those characteristics.
