Thoughts on 2025 GLE 53 AMG
Or with the https://www.mbusa.com/en/inventory/Euro-Motorcars-Germantown-LLC/34108/GLE/SUV/GLE53C4/4JGFD6BB8SB415411]Night Pkg, which I don't care for as much.
I'm a fan as well, very sporty looking colour especially in magno form.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
The 2026 Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe introduces several significant updates over the 2025 model, primarily transitioning from a mild-hybrid to a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain. Here's a detailed comparison:🔋 Powertrain & Performance
- 2025 GLE 53 Coupe: Equipped with a 3.0L turbocharged inline-six engine paired with a mild-hybrid system, it produces 429 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. Luxury Cars
- 2026 GLE 53 Coupe: Upgrades to a plug-in hybrid system combining a 443-hp version of the 3.0L inline-six engine with a 134-hp electric motor, totaling 536 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. This setup reduces the 0–60 mph time to 4.6 seconds.
- 2025 Model: Features a mild-hybrid system that provides brief electric assistance but lacks the ability to drive solely on electric power.
- 2026 Model: Incorporates a 31.2 kWh battery enabling all-electric driving at speeds up to 87 mph. While official electric-only range figures are pending, estimates suggest approximately 45–50 miles. Motor1.comevtable.com
- 2025 Model: Utilizes AMG Ride Control+ air suspension with adaptive damping.
- 2026 Model: Retains the AMG Ride Control+ system but includes enhancements such as revised front bump stops, new rear dampers, and updated chassis tuning to accommodate the additional weight of the hybrid components. Car and Driver
- 2025 Model: Features the MBUX infotainment system with standard displays and functionalities.
- 2026 Model: Adds hybrid-specific displays to the MBUX system, including charging status, electric range, and battery temperature indicators. Caricos
- 2025 Model: Maintains a traditional AMG aesthetic without hybrid-specific elements.
- 2026 Model: Introduces subtle design changes such as hybrid-specific badging on the fenders and tailgate, and an additional front fascia opening to direct airflow to the new heat exchanger. Carscoops
- 2025 GLE 53 Coupe: Starts at $92,150 MSRP. Luxury Cars
- 2026 GLE 53 Coupe: Pricing has not been officially announced, but expectations place it near or above $100,000 due to the advanced hybrid technology.

An alternative might be to try to find an AMG 63s to experience the seating, interior and handling, but be aware that ARC is standard with them. At least it was.
Don't push too hard on the loud pedal or the temptation to spend an extra 20 or 30k might be too great.
The seats on a 53 are definitely different from a 450. In that regard, I miss my 2020 450 seating for road trips. That's why I specified the Napa diamond stitching, because it adds another level of comfort.
OTOH at the track, the 53 seats are barely enough at 1G. I have to deflate the lumbar support bladders completely in order to get almost enough side bolster.
If the shopper is near Southern Colorado, I can let him drive mine.

He must have trusted my Salesman, who trusted me. It was a kind gesture on a car he hadn't even seen yet. A benefit of developing a relationship with a Dealership.
It was a Coupe, the first one I'd ever been in, and I learned that I didn't fit well.
I needed the SUV size for towing an hauling, although for fun driving, the shorter wheelbase and lighter weight of the coupe was tempting.
I am still driving the loaner (GLE 350) and comparing it to my GLE 43 AMG coupe. Noticed that in both 350 and 450, when I have the radio a little bit on a higher volume, under my left foot starts vibrating. Also, when the car speed is around 60-62, I have been hearing a siren noise like an ambulance is coming from a distance. After a couple of days I found out this is the noise that the car makes and actually there is no ambulance coming from far away! On both cars, the driver door doesn't close with the first or second try. I have to shut it really hard otherwise it would remain open. Overall, the quality of these 2025 ones are nothing like the older model that I have. Now, having said that, when I find a dealer that has a 2025 GLE AMG coupe that I can try, I will see how those will be and keep you all posted.

Yup, look forward to hearing you testing a GLE 53, hopefully you find one soon.
It could also be a notification noise from a device or something?
