GLK Diesel/Electric Hybrid
pmb600,

Welllllll, The future has already arrived in Deutschland.
(The "Concept" as you describe it "Has come to Pass")

Let me rephrase that...you are technically correct IF you are N.A, resident (as am I)
For the purpose of this discussion(ONLY):We were unlucky enough to be born and live
Between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans and as far as MBNA and MB are concerned
the GLK D/E Hybrid does not exist, YET!

Special thanks to Ryan Vanyi at MB Westminster
I just wanted to thank Ryan Vanyi at MB Westminster, CO for the fantastic deal and treatment I received there while purchasing my GLK.

Ryan had the GLK I wanted; gave me a great deal which we managed to work on via email and a couple of phone calls during the course of about an hour; and I was on my way to Denver; (about 500 miles from where we live).

All of the paperwork was waiting for me when I showed up Saturday morning, and I would have been on my way in about 45 minutes if I hadn't elected to get the windshield protection package added, which entails having a protective film applied to the windshield. (BTW, $460 for 4 years of windshield repair/replacement with MB OEM glass is a bargain considering what a windshield costs to replace these days).

It was a fantastic buying experience in all respects; I cannot thank and recommend Ryan and his dealership enough!!

A little off-topic and not intended to offend you, but how do you make the claim that you have the largest inventory in the US?

Perhaps because every dealer has access to inventory levels at all other MB dealerships?

Perhaps, but a quick inventory check tells me that this dealer has 20 GLKs in stock whereas my dealer (EuroMotorCars, Bethesda, MD) has 44? Lets not even get Fletcher Jones in the mix.

Has to be some kind of fuzzy logic, IMO.

Thanks Bish, that's the truth. I would not just come on here and make that kind of a statement without the ability to back it up if need be I'm not sure how you are coming up with 20 GLK's, BUT, inventory includes not only cars on the ground. It includes that plus VPC vehicles, vehicles on the water, vehicles produced not shipped and vehicles in production. I have well over 80. Also, we have sold well over 30, so if you want to start from original numbers, 110+...

Probably will be about $1000, I think that is what it is on other models.
