Excellent find ! No doubt Audi and Volvo will soon be added.

In any event, this comparison makes a very strong argument for MB's superior engineering and design.

With approximately 4000 GLKs sold in Canada + USA for the first two months, I don't think MB needs to "justify" this kind of successful launch in North America.

You might not be aware that MB received 10,000 GLK orders in the first month of Euro sales.

The competition, on the other, especially BMW X3 and Acura RDX, must be wondering what has hit them.

^^^I dont know about this. GLK just got the timing right. X3 is on its way out, new one is coming out next year I believe. Q5 wasn't out yet. XC60 was not out. And acura RDX is a little dated by now. So there was really no competition during these months. I think Q5 and XC60 will take quite a few sales from GLK in coming months. And also it's been sold for close to invoice and promo apr. It'll be interesting to see March and April sales. I don't think it'll be another 4000.

PS. Comaprison is a little bit unfair too. X3 is 6 year old model. And RDX cost less and also 3 years old.

Well its a good article a little biased against the RDX which is not exactly in this class, but they should not knock "Honda" they may not build rock solid luxury CUVs but they build rock solid engines and drive trains and the maintenance cost are down to earth. Both ther BMW and RDX are due for a makeover next year or two. Having tested the Q5, the interior is up to MB standard and the technology is a bit more next gen. When and if they do compare the GLK with the Q5 and the XC60 the MB tech will not be in the driver seat.
Having said all that, I hope to take delivery on Friday of my GLK :-)
