I'm from the N.E. U.S. I've been told that it takes about 90 days. Has anyone out there taken delivery of an ordered GLK? If, so ...how long was your wait? Thanks.

Depends. If I were to order in end of march I would get car mid june. It depens on when production batch starts. According to my sales guy next batch starts mid May and you would have car in about a month after that. So if you order is filled by the deadline (let's say it's beg of april) then you will get car in June, if you miss it then it all depends when next batch goes into production and it roughly one month after that. But there are so many GLK around, unless you are really picky about your options. Go to large dealer, they ususally are able to get car from anywhere in North East. My car was going to CO, and they intercepted it.

and the closest match was coming across the pond to a dealer 600 miles away which wasn't cost effective for my dealer to flatbed it home, since he already gave me $2,000 off the window sticker for my order. Hopefully a closer match will pop up before my est. delivery date of June 30th. Thanks NYC.

Thanks. It's the price one pays for an European order. It will be worth the wait. I kinda got spoiled as a sales person when I sold mostly ordered American made trucks back in the early 90's. We got most of 'em in 5 weeks. I keep telling myself it's like waiting for a fine steak.

2k off the window sticker is not that much, unless you are getting base model. Your price should be around invoice. Go to a bigger dealer, they can get a car from anywhere. My dealer seached entire north east for what I wanted. He found one car that was on the boat coming to US going to CO, now should be in NJ.

Ordered my GLK Feb. 13th with $1,500 off MSRP or best promo at time of delivery, which ever is best for me.

My car is scheduled for build last week of April. Still no VIN# or exact build date. Delivery is projected last week of May or first week of June.

We are talking 14 weeks here.

Reward, I get the exact car I want built for me.

There really isn't much of a spread on moderately loaded GLKS...(about 3K) and is it not reasonable to pay about 1k over invoice?

My car ordered late February was scheduled for a last week of March build, but we now have a scheduled day, April 11th for build with all tracking numbers and build spec.

So it slipped two weeks.

I ordered mine a week ago and was told it will take 3 months. I paid $300 over invoice (plus dealer charges (were not too bad, tax and license).
This is in Phoenix AZ

I paid $1,500 under MSRP plus whatever factory deal was or was not available at time of delivery.

I put down a $1,000 good faith deposit that can be refunded for any reason.

Will update in June, when GLK arrives.
