Being Towed? (not towing)

Don't see why not. It's like any other AWD car with automatic trasmission. Not sure if you can tow an AWD car tho. My guess you would put it in neutral? You gotta be able to tow any car no?

There are threads in other forum about this topic. The concern was that with auto transmission, there will be mechanical damage when lub system is not running during towing. I was under impression that the transmission gears are still in motion even in neutral. Manual transmission will be a totally different story, it can be towed w/o problem.

Only 2 wheel drive for thirty miles @ 30 mph.

My neighbour has a towing company and he assured me that a AWD car may not be towed . He has a special "flat bed" truck to pick up AWD cars.
