Sun glasses holder should be standard which I can't find in my $50K GLK. Where you guys put yours ?

don't even have it on my GL 550, So i just put it on the glove box.

Yea I don't know why It doesn't have it. When I test drove bunch of cars, I believe Audi and Infiniti had it, bimmers did not. My guess with that sunroof and all those buttons they could not fit sunglass holder in.

This is not really a big deal for me as my current car does not have it either. And when I did have it on my old car, I used to forget my sunglasses there all the time as I would walk out wearing them. So you need to have a dedicated pair just for your car, in case you forget your regular pair. But then, you can just keep them anywhere else in the car as you would not use them that often. This is my justification for the fact that many premium cars don't have it.

now a days, sunglasses are so big that they don't fit into the holders built into cars. i have a pair of prada that the case alone, almost fills the glove box.

center console storage, its nice and deep. lots of space. with ipod, there is no need to carry CDs around. plenty of space.

Move to SoCal. We were sunglasses here all the time, even inside. So no storage needed.

sunglass case is actually better for the sunglasses than a sunglass holder..
plus, this ain't JDM...
MB minimizes # of holders (cup, sunglass, coin, etc...)

sorry to bring back this old thread but I came across it while using the search function for something else.
I have two pairs on sunglasses in the arm rest under the "clamshell" top part.
I have another pair in the glove box and one more pair whose home is the pop out drawer next to the glove box.
