Sirius Traffic in GLK
Hi all, first post here. I ordered a GLK which was born 7/1/09. I have heard that the ones built from June on are coming with a few features new features standard, the keyless go, folding mirrors, and Sirius Real Time traffic. Has anybody gotten a chance to try out the traffic system in the navigation? Does it work well? is it useful? Thanks a bunch!

oh also, I was wondering if anybody knew of aftermarket appearance modification for the GLK. Or any known low-cost performance mods like installing a high flow air filter

keyless go is not standard but available as an option.
I heard that real traffic will come if you get siriurs radio.
Not sure about folding mirrors.

Got my car last week love it, well my wife does. Its hers , but I still drive it and it's great got the keyless thats a great opp, I think I have traffic but I'ts like backwards. I think it show's traffic on the wrong side of the road . does this make sense

Jay, can you let me know how you like the traffic update, I am debating if I should add Sirus XM? If so will it intergrate and give me traffic updates?

I personally have the Sirius radio (well, in my free 6-month trial), but dont have the traffic (although my vehicle does support it).
I'm not sure your GLK OEM Nav system supports Sirius traffic as it's not listed on Sirius' page above as one of the 2009 MB models that is supported (shows 2009 G and 2009 GL, but not 2009 GLK).

I wish we had Sirius Traffic in Canada. I might just have to get a US sub once my free 3 months are up

The real-time traffic is an amazing option, I really do love it. It will automatically change your navigation route to have you avoid heavy traffic, and it is even updated on street closings. Now that I've been using it for a few weeks, it's an option I would not want to live without. I have not been stuck in one traffic jam since I got it!

OK thats it. now like I said before,the little cars on the road show traffic on the wrong side.Does this make any sense ???? I Thought I had traffic

I have a GLK born in 7/09 with COMAND and Sirius Live Traffic. I commute in the NYC metro area so it is pretty helpful because i can get traffic messages around the route. Like it was said earlier you have to pay attention to the little "cars" on the display and see what direction they are moving to see if the traffic is on your side of the road or not.

Ok just called the sirius guy He says the car does have TRAFFIC NAV , baby G,I see the little cars yellow and red,but they are on the wrong side of the road.Weird ****.

Hey boston i think the dashes are cars I think yellow is slow red is real slow.
