GLK Service Manual?
Does anyone have access to this? Is it available for sale?
Would like to know how to remove panels / light access etc. Just the basics without having to drop $$$ every time for a simple task.![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
No, I will not be doing my own repairs, thanks for asking in advance.![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)

MBWorld Fanatic!
Yea I was thinking that too, like Heynes manual. I think GLK is too new for those books. Owners manual tells you how to replace lights tho.

thanks NYCGLK! ![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)
Yes, it is too new that even the dealer can't get one as of yet?
Also, on the Slyvania website, there are no 2010 models listed either.
Just being curious to know what 'after market' options are available for a cool upgrade.![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)

The owners manual tells you what bulbs are used.

This is great as I am still waiting for my GLK to arrive in December?
However, it does not breakdown all the bulbs used, nor does it tell you how to get access to it. For an example, on the front fogs, there is no information. Could not find anything on the dome / interior light either. And finally, are those LEDs in the rear red or orange? Could these be changed to color preference?
And would like to obtain all my extra 'goodies' in advance so it will be ready to go par se with a few of the add-ons. I will be ordering the AeroKit / chrome strip/ all weather mats / and few others : )"
So all the better in preparing. Still looking for how to take out radio & side of windshield panel to place 'antenna' by the rear mirror.. and conceal a wire or 2...

Have you checked STAR TekInfo to see if they have the GLK online resources posted yet?
Not cheap though...something like $100/week to access the site via subscription.
Probably too early in the production cycle for third-party manuals. And I assume M-B doesn't make their shop schematics available for purchase by DIY wannabes.

Whoops, mr.mbenz, you may be out of luck. I just looked at the site's FAQ and you have to subscribe with a USA credit card:
Q: Why can't I use my Canadian credit card?
A: Unfortunately we are not able to accept non-US credit cards. Some of the technical information is U.S. government-regulated. We welcome you to contact Mercedes-Benz Canada for your needs.
Even if you have a friend in the USA subscribe and send you the password, they will likely block access from any originating ISP outside the US. OTOH, if you're computer literate, there are ways to mask the requesting ISP's location.
