Just Love This...
I just love the way this Brabus GLK profile looks... lowered ever so little, flared and vented fenders (rear), and subtle body kit.... clean and classy!!!!
Not to mention all the other unseen brake, engine and suspension mods!!!

I agree! Didn't like them at first either... but like you, they are indeed growing on me!!! I also love the headlights without those yellow turn markers built into them. Plus I love that it's not overly-chromed.., yes I do I wish I could afford one of these babies!

It might be a case of "don't ask, don't tell."
Insurance agents use a pre-programmed application form with drop-down menus for equipment variables.
Since the GLK is only offered from the factory with the one engine it probably would not even come up as a question!
Now, paying for the thing is another matter...

From the article:
The "GLK-based athlete was also tested for top speed at an Italian high-speed track two months ago. There it posted a scintillating (211 mph), making it the fastest street-legal SUV in the world, as per the press release.
The work involved in such a feat is enormous. It includes fitting a massive 6.3-litre V12 bi-turbo engine with two large turbochargers, more efficient intercoolers, free-flow metal catalysts and a stainless steel exhaust system.
Maximum power is rated at 750hp at 5,500rpm and peak torque is 995 lb-ft at 2,100rpm. BRABUS have however limited the latter to 811 lb-ft. All of that goes to the rear wheels through a 5-speed automatic gearbox assisted by a limited-slip differential with a locking rate of 40 percent."

Now, are you sitting down, a list price of about $575,000.00. You know its a nice looking car but it's still only a GLK with a monster engine that proved that it could go over 200 MPH and claims to be the fastest SUV around.

I agree but who other than a handful of people would know what a Brabus is. They would think its just a tricked out GLK in disguise. BTW where are you driving this vehicle at 200 MPH or 150 other than a track. Oh I forgot the suspension broke the bank, keep saving the rest of the car will be along shortly.

Only if he commutes from Arizona... $575K will barely buy a one-bedroom condo out here...

Well we decided to take the plunge. We decided to upgrade the GLK over the winter with the Brabus brake, body, suspension and wheel/tire kits. As busy as I have been, I'll do my best to keep you updated.

I like the chrome air extractors behind the front wheels, even if they are likely non-functional and just there for decoration. It always seemed like they should have been there from the factory.
Does anyone know if those can be ordered separately from any aftermarket vendors?

Heard back from Brabus today... there could be a snag in the order.... it appears that the Wide-Star Body Kit (as seen above) was recently (like in this week) discontinued and they are feverishly trying to scour the Earth in search of parts to build mine.... f-ing bummer! Now they tell me?
Makes me have doubts... what if the car suffers a fender bender.... will there be replacement parts?.... I'd think not! More to come....

Seriously, I'm more interested in those clear head lights & corners...wonder if there is a viable & not costly alternative...
