2012 GLK invoice or below purchase?

i know it's a new model that just came out but I'm curious if anyone in CA (north & south) have gotten one with either at invoice or below it?

Please list the msrp/invoice and what you get for it. thanks.

I'm negotiating and debating between a fully loaded 2011 or custom built 2012.

appreciated it.

in my experience, you should never pay above invoice price unless you just can't wait for it at all...for MOST cars!!! And of course GLK.. doesn't matter it's new 2012.. never above invoice price..

yes i know should be able o negotiate but i was curious of how many people have gotten the 2012 with different prices.

by the look of respond, doesn't seem that many people have gotten it yet.

i have an offer for $1k below invoice for whatever car I built. thus far seems to be good comparing with none.

How do u know what is invoice price. When I purchased my 2011 couple of months back, everyone quoted me different invoice price. Some said invoice price is 6% below sticker price and online it showed 15% below sticker price.

I landed up getting 11% below sticker price + $2000 manufacturer conquest program discount. For 2012 the dealer told me 5% below sticker price + $1000 manufacturer conquest program discount.

I think for 2012, $1000 below invoice sounds great.

Note:- I live in Chicago area.

Well to me, invoice is the price that you get when you built it on cars/edmunds/kbb websites. The price should only include all the options that you choose and nothing else. I've purchased 2 toyota and 2 bmws before using this method. The bmw dealer had thrown in a advertising fee on the invoice before but I told them to waive it off.

recent quote for the glk was the same thing. Dealer tried to tell me the invoice didn't include the IRG "ads fee" so it's $500 additional. I told him I'm not paying it so he quoted me $1k below invoice without it. Thus far the MSRP for my car is about $45,500 and I got the offered for $41,100. Over $4k off is pretty good considered the car just released.

Your dealer is actually telling you the truth about the IRG fee, so the only way to back it up is to see a copy of the invoice printed from netstar, but if you want a deal on a 2012 glk PM me.
