GLK X-Mas Presents

Gave the GLK a remote starter and new sound system for x-mas. The HK system was ok but needed more bass. Added an Alpine amp into the rear side panel and 10 inch sub in a custom stealth box that would allow the GLK to keep the spare. Have not lost any rear space, and the sound is unbelievable with the 10 inch sub giving tight bass that is not to heavy. Hope the girlfriend is happy.

The remote starter is using the OEM key fob, but added smart start so GF can down load the app and use a smart phone to start.

We gave our GLK a Toshiba Thrive tablet for Christmas. Great addition to the toy chest.

"Your GLK got in my way."

Spotted a total of 3 GLKs in Banner Elk, Blowing Rock & Boone. Black, white & ours.

Has anyone changed the all the speakers in their GLK to make the sound better and did you have to get an amp as well? I don't have HK unfortunately.

I think I saw a thread about that somewhere....and they said there was a difference but not as good as HK unless you put in a custom box.

I am just wondering if the subwoofer of the Nissan Murano will work with the GLK.....it was specifically designed to fit on top of the spare tire and looks exactly like that and you might still put the tray underneath if you want.
