Hood emblem
Do I recall seeing somewhere a picture of a GLK with an upright Mercedes star on the hood rather than the flat badge? Would that be a European adaptation?

This pic is for demonstration purposes only. Search e-bay for proper fitment.

Please double check before you buy.
As far as I know, the GLk hood is not deep enough for this "star"

Would that ebay star emblem fit our GLK? I notice its diameter is 49mm at the base.
The overall diameter of our GLK oem flat badge is 57mm.

Sorry to revive an old thread but since the name of this thread is easy to search I figure this will be the best place to ask my question.
Has anyone used an upright star on their X204 and where did they get it? Specific (trustworthy) ebay vendors, etc...
I think it would look better, as long as it is not mounted on a pedestal (?!?!), what are your thoughts?

It is not a simple swap out. The GLK has a steel brace under the hood which would have to be cut out to fit the std. upright badge. Too bad.
