Question Quotes on 2013 GLK -- are they good or not?

For the last couple of weeks, I've been negotiating with several MB dealers about purchasing a 2013 GLK. The best price I have been offered is $3,200 off MSRP (approximately $1,000 under invoice). Is that a good deal compared to what others are getting? I am currently driving a 2010 GLK with 11,000 miles and the trade value they are offering me is $25,000 which I think is low. Does anyone else have advice as to whether this is a good deal or not? I have all written quotes so they are legit. I want to make a decision within the next week and want to feel like I got the best reasonable deal. My dealership had quite a few 2013's on their lot but I may need to order mine. Your advice is welcome! Thanks!

depends

I guess depends if you are a previous MB owner or not. 2013 GLK 350 is my first MB. I was able to get it for about 7K less then MSRP.

OTD? When I bought mine @ the end of the model year, it was ~7% below MSRP OTD.

So IMO -anything above 5% off the MSRP OTD would be great & even fantastic for an updated model year.

My sales person is offering 7.5% off msrp with whatever conquest cash is available at the time. I'm ordering a car for shipment around thanksgiving. I'm hoping to get a good financing rate from them otherwise I'll have to deal with 2.5-3% for the bank I work for. Also hoping the conquest cash is 2k by then.

It'll also be my first MB. What options did you get on yours?

Nice. I would prefer all the options, but trying to stay within budget. Looking for no navi, but still with the appearance package.

I was just quoted 3% off MSRP for a 2013 GLK in Toronto. Where do you guys find these deals?

I was expecting more so did not pull the trigger.

It is difficult to tell if this is a good price or not because your trade makes the numbers blurry. This is a dealer tactic to get you to buy - give you a great price on a new car (and that is a great price by the way) then make it up on your trade. Best way to deal is to negotiate the new car price before telling the dealer you have a trade. You can check with on-line pricing sites like Edmunds to get a good idea of what you should pay and what you should expect for your trade-in vehicle.
