GLK350 2013

Will pick up GLK350 2013 this week and I need help :

Should I need to buy extender warranty 7 years or 100,000 milies ? how much it cost for 7 yrs or 100K ?

Should I need to buy Mercedes-Benz Star Service Prepaid Maintenance ?
2 yrs $619 ( 20,000 miles) 3 yrs $769 (30,000 miles) 4 yrs $1449 ( 40,000 miles) 5 yrs 1679 ( 50,000 miles)

GLK350 2013 don't have full size spare tires , If i buy full size will it fit in spare tire in the car ?

Thanks for any advice

I paid more for 5 year maintenance. I'm jealous.

Spare: I doubt the road wheel+tire will fit in the spare space. Go to a dealer. Ask them. Better yet, ask them to show you.
I haven't bought an extended warranty yet.

A "full sized" wheel will surely not fit in spare tire well.

I agree.
Even with the doughnut spare tire, it's still need to be inflated before install on your car.

Smacks his head hard! Of course! I totally forgot about the flat spare and air pump in the back.
Gone are the days when Volvos had room for two snow tires in the trunk.

Nor did I.

I guess the good news is we haven't needed the spare...

Thanks, Wayne!

so merc is expecting us to just place the flat tire over the carpeted trunk (the GLK flat wheel storage engineer should be hanged for this)? seems so stupid to me as the flat tire compartment should house a full spare tire for storage/repair purposes when we swap for the emergency flat tire. Now I miss my 2007 nissan murano as it has full spare tire with matching alloy rims as a spare.

guess I have something to see for myself when I remove my 20" rims for winter wheels this weekend....

for the extended warranty.....if you will be keeping the car for a long time (5-7 years). YES buy it with the car as it will be blended in on the financing and you don't have to pay $300+- for recertification when you buy it AFTER you seal the deal on the car.

Ask what the details on the star prepaid service. If it will cover all of the scheduled maintenance on the car then that is a bargain. A oil change on the GLK (service A) usually will cost you $325-$350 and other service intervals are more expensive....maybe ask the dealer the cost of the service types and do the math to see if it worth it.

If you are going to buy the maintenance go at least 4 year. The 4th service / 2nd B service includes oil change, trans fluid and brake fluid etc. Usually pricey at the dealer.

I had the option with a CPO C300, I don't know if it's not new or CPO and bought from a dealer.

Just got a car yesterday, add $2000.00 for 84 months or 75,000 miles, prepaid service is $1699.00 for 5 years or 50,000 miles and plus taxes.
