Problem with "Nice" cars?

Problem with "Nice" cars?
It’s probably coincidence - but I have not had good luck with nice cars. A few years back, I had a special edition 350Z. I pulled into a motel parking lot, and next to me were a couple in an older pickup. They gave me the eagle eye. Next morning I go out to find a HUGE ding on my driver-side door. I have little question that it was no accident. Later my BMW 5 took a light keying on the trunk lid. Today I parked my 2013 GLK at the market. Came out find a nice dent, with paint damage. to a small area above the rear bumper. Hell - I would hate to think of owning a really expensive Merc or equivalent.

That's why I've learned to park my "nice" cars very far away from "caring" people in public places or I take something I have less stress about to those places.

What gets me is when I do park off in the distance, away from any cars and I come out and there are 2 cars parked beside me. Fortunately no dings, but it seems people like parking close to nice cars? Crazy....

My daughter just bought a 300 C awd sport 1 month ago, and Friday night at a HS baseball game it was her car that got hit by a fly ball. Put a nice dent in the hood. Back of the lot away from everything, go figure. She's 42 years old but still cried. Its a 3 year lease with dent and ding insurance but it still hurts.

There are thoughtless cretins everywhere, but they seem to congregate in parking lots and take a whack at "nice" cars.
No choice but to park in East Half Nowhere and hope the ***** don't find you!

One time I watched a woman parking next to my car, which was the only one in that part of the parking lot. I approached her and asked her 'why' she parked next to my car and far away from other cars. Her reply stunned me "Oh, I use other cars as a reference so I park between the lines. It makes parking easier."
Now my main concern are child seats in the car.

I try to park far away from the crowd too but it doesn't always work. One thing that pisses me off however is when I see a real nice car like a 911 turbo, occupying two spaces. When I drive my old car I make it a point to park two feet away from them just to show them they don't own the lot! The lot I m referring to gets full or almost full later in the morning so I will not grant the idiot an extra space just because he loves his car more than he should.

Door dingers: Some are just careless, some are clueless and some do it on purpose. All of them are imbeciles.
I go out of my way to minimize the possibility of a door ding, even to the point of facing my car into the wind, thus blowing an adjacently parked car door closed rather than open. I'm just funny that way...

Just yesterday I went to Lowe’s with my wife and parked the ML all alone in the back lot away from all of the chaos and carts. I parked in the furthest back corner space leaving at least at least 50 open spaces over 3 aisles.
I come out and someone had to parked right next me, I mean seriously he/she couldn’t have parked in one of the other 50 spaces. This person had to have gone two aisles out of their way in this empty lot to park next to me so I know it was done on purpose.. Some people are just a$$holes!
