Sirius prob with 2014

My dealer was the one that told me about it, gave me the LI number, and gave the "hold the on button for 10 seconds" command system reboot fix/workaround. I am just in awe that your dealer can't find anything about it. Surely my dealer got it from somewhere. Others have also posted that their dealers contacted MB and that they were aware of the issue. This is just weird.

I pushed the power button again and radio rebooted to FM (I guess the default). I tuned Sirius back and it has been OK since that time. I'm wondering if the reboot cleared something out or I'm just lucky so far? I would ask others to try the reboot even if no issues. It may reset the system to work. I have my fingers crossed.

FWIW, I haven't had the updating channels problem in a few weeks. Interestingly, my free trial to Sirius expired. So I don't know if there is a connection between these two.
Still every now and then I get the infinite Updating Channels issue. The press and hold on the power button has been helpful.
