Is it a good idea to buy a 2010 GLK with 85k miles
Need advise from Wise
Is it high risk to buy a GLK 2010 out of warranty
Car has been nicely maintained only major issue so far was Gear shifter was replaced
rest were wear tear brakes, spark plug etc
Did anyone have major issues with this model i'm looking to keep it for couple years
Thanks in advance
Appreciate it

If it was clean with complete service records I will say yes esp if it was always dealer serviced. Otherwise, no.

Thanks for the response yes it was always dealer serviced
And the other thing i found out today is it had a check engine light recently
Codes 0632, 0652 miss fire in CYL 2
Dealer replaced Cylinder heads , gasket, TS filter ..
Did anyone have similar issues is it a sign of more problems ahead
Appreciate any suggestions
Thanks

I have 58k miles on my 2010 and it's like it was 6.5 years ago, except for a couple of chips. Very solid and well made car. If you DIY, the maintenance is pretty simple and not expensive.
Tires last only about 35k miles. I'm still on original brake pads and rotors. Only a couple of bulbs started to burn out (couple bucks) and the battery will probably need to be replaced before winter.

A solid pre-owned GLK can be a great value for you - please note as this is a enthusiast's forum - you deserved accurate and pointed feedback.
The options/features of a GLK have a wide range - so you need to research and have clear understand of what features and options your target pre-owned GLK has - and doesn't have - and frankly the info you are providing here - year - mileage - and some general opinion on condition - I hope you are a bit more diligent on your side for your purcahse.
Please use you research on features/options on your target GLK to get 3rd party accurate value guide to "price" - I recommend edmunds.com - under Research Your Car -in the Trade-In and Pricing tab. KBB and NADA are frankly worthless to give you a accurate 3rd party valuation - edmunds is most accurate overall by a mile.
GLK's come in both Reart-Wheel-Drive versions and 4matic All-Time-All-Wheel-Drive - and RWD or 4matic already will give you a $1500-$2K swing on market price.
The accurate features set is critical on a 2010 - and in 2010 the feature set was not the same as in more recent model GLK's - so dig into it.
If the 2010 has cable media interface in the glovebox - so you know a $100 plug in Tune@Air unit can give you Bluetooth Music.
If the 2010 does not have rear camera - for around $1000 a car audio shop can add for you.
If the 2010 has UMI Nav+ navigation - that unit is not upgradeable, and frankly sucks.
If the 2010 does not have power rear tailgate - that can't be added..
All that "stuff" - and more - summary what the GLK has and what it doesn't have - is key for "is it a good price"..
Good luck - keep the beat

From what i know the car has below features
p01 Premium Package: Garage Door opener
power lift gate
panaroma sunroof
Rain sensing wipers
Power driver seat w memory
Autodimming mirrors
Rear view mirror with integrated compass
115v Ac power outlet
20" wheels
heated front seats
hitch
Pre-wiring for rear seat entertainment
I doubt it has cable Media interface in glove box and yes it is 4matic
Its more than edmunds estimate but close enough
is there any work around for bluetooth audio?

As an aside, I have a 2010 GLK350 4Matic that has 90K miles on it now and has been zero trouble. It just works. I run up and down Cali a lot and average 22-23 mpg.
On the media side, I think I've seen music adapters that can plug in and give you streaming BT with an aftermarket adapter. I figured it was one more thing to spend money on and plugging in a source didn't sound like an impossible burden.

If you're interested in the GLK - then I suggest you go see and drive it - oh, and check the glovebox for media interface cable.
If it was me - edmunds is a good guideline - unless there is a specific reason to "pay more" - the answer is "don't"

My 2009 has nearly 140k. Still runs better and smoother than my parents VW Tiguan with 20k miles. It's considered to be the best Compact SUV tested by swedish car inspections with the most common demerit of "broken windshield".

.....FWIW Department: the Finance lady at M-B handling my CPO coupe purchase indicated something like "..............two kinds of owners: those under warranty and those not..........." Her follow-up words are lost in time (but her point underscored the warranty's importance).

If I where you go with a 2011 instead. I think these are better value than the 2010s. Find a car that has the lighting package as those have active curve and cornerings light which are $$ to retrofit. Also find one that has a towing package pre-installed if you like carrying bikes or thinking of towing. Retrofitting the OEM tow is a $$ if done afterwards. If you are lucky to find a 2011 with the AMG appearance package it is a good thing as 2012 is exactly the same as 2011s and the only way that differentiates the basic 2012 to the 2011 with AMG appearance package are the 20" AMG wheels which is a $500 option on 2012s.
Make sure you open and close the rear hatch at least 20x to see if it will stop opening or closing mid-way. Also take note of a squeaking noise on the engine bay which might be a noisy belt tensioner.
Other than that I consider a GLK rock solid car if properly maintained.
