GLK - got letter for "Service Campaign" 2019080019
FYI. I just got a letter from MB USA for a Service campaign 2019080019 to replace potential rusted steering bolts on GLK (2013). Its exactly the same as this poster got on a different Mercedes model

So if 2013s and 2015s are affected, then 2014s may also be affected. I'll keep an eye out for this in the mail.

Got that letter this weekend, called my local MB dealer and they said they won’t have the parts for at least another week, to check back later.

Mine went in last week. Dealer kept the GLK for two days! Alignment, etc. takes place after the bolt is replaced.

I'm almost positive that they replace as a matter of course, given the labor involved to get to the part in the first place. To be frank, I didn't ask. Even at reduced mfg labor rates, this is going to be an expensive proposition for MB.

They replace the bolt(s) regardless of whether or not it's rusted. That's the same with most recalls: the job gets done whether you had a defective part or not.
