power tap switched as well as always ON source?
where can I tap wires to install my car cam? In the rear fusebox, it seems every fuse is switched. thanks!

Why would you want an always on source? I'm pretty sure all that will do is drain the battery.

What's wrong with switched on power?

What's wrong with switched on power?
The Ithinkware needs both switched as well as always ON. It turns itself off if there is power drain and monitors the car for movement in parking lots while car is off.

You may just have to run wires from the battery if that's the case. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable chimes in.

2013 glk 350
My auto stereo shop used the front fuse box for both always on power and switched power. Call around it shouldn’t be more than 50$ With wires routed and hidden.

Just a WAG, but, try fuse 46 or 61. Also, the spare fuse positions by 46 (47, 48).

You could use the Aux. battery in the trunk. Just use a small cable with inline automotive fuse holder when connecting to the Aux. Batt.

Ok was able to fuse tap it! 91,42 and 40(is a spare) are hot or continuously ON. Of course the whole row of 43,44,45,46,47 are switched. Thanks all!
