OM651 Engine Oil Filter
A 6-pack of oil filters PremiumGuard Oil Filters for $50. I installed one of these at my most recent OCI and inspected it closely for quality. The filters are made in S. Korea and look very good, of sturdy construction and quality filter media.
These will work in all GLK250s, as well as E250, GLE300d, ML250, and Sprinters with the 2.1L OM651 engine (not sure what years those were).
I dunno about you, but $50 for 6 oil filters is a huge win in my book, considering the typical cost of things these days. Couple these with deals on great oils such as M1 ESP 0w30 in 5L jugs for $27 or Pennzoil Platinum Euro L 5w30 in 5L jugs for $26 and you've got quite the savings.
Happy motoring!

For some items, like batteries and oil filters, I buy at a local parts store. Last GLK oil change, I bought a Mann filter ... with the VA discount , I paid about $8 USD.
Pretty much all local auto parts stores (plus many other retailers) give a discount for retired Vets. And some places offer dedicated parking spaces 👍
And I thought since many of the "trusted" OEM brands had recently moved operations out to China where labor is cheap, you don't always get the quality you're hoping for. It doesn't hurt to have another brand option, and a high-quality one at that.

Even some of the German manufacturers are there. Mann, for example. And "Premium Guard" has a facility there.
It's all about manufacturing savings ... the big difference is IF THE brand manufacturer has dedicated staff to ensure final product quality. Some don't care - others ensure their products meets quality specifications.
Very odd side note: I was in a well known Texas-owned grocery store, looking at their brand Melatonin (a natural OTC sleep aid) ... I picked up and read the bottle: "manufacturered in China, bottled and packaged in USA".
