Hi all, I figured I should've posted here in the first place, I'm a relatively new owner to my GLK250 and may I say, it is my baby at this point. I'm experiencing an issue where whenever I go into drive or reverse, my car starts vibrating, and stops when I put it in park or neutral. For context, a good 6 months ago maybe, I was pulling out of my driveway and couldn't drive or reverse, after checking it out, my axle popped out. I replaced it with an aftermarket and ever since my axle popped out, this vibration has been occuring. Any thoughts as to what it could be would be greatly appreciated!

I'd say it's the replacement axle causing the vibration. It's quite common with aftermarket axles. I know a lot of Subaru Outback owners had this problem when using "cheaper" replacement cv axles.
Why did you replace it? Was it damaged in some way when it popped out?
the c clip was a concerningly tight, i skipped the hassle of fixing it and i ended up just getting a new axle, i'll put in the old axle since its oem and benchmark and see if it fixes the vibration, but good call!

I had the same exact problem. Replaced the after market axel with a factory one and it fixed it. It was day and night. Some on this forum members argued i should have gotten a better after market one. I didn't want to risk wasting money and install time again so i splurged since i'm keeping this car forever.
