Its just a last year hoorah to pump up sales. As I have been pointing out, the 2019 model will probably not be out till .... 2019!! You will probably be able to order in the fall or winter of 18. Ive been waiting 2 mths for our 18 and still have a mth to go.

S class coupe which is a 2018 model year will be in dealerships summer of 2018 - does that make sense? Not to me but again I am not in marketing.

You are probably correct. If it was being released fall of 2018 then they should have unveiled the new GLS at the Detroit show. GLE is supposed to come out before GLS and they haven't even unveiled that so who knows what MB is thinking.

Now this was funny ..... "As I have been pointing out, the 2019 model will probably not be out till .... 2019!! ... I guess there are still those out there that use a Ouija board.
MB dealers have seen the new GLS already... and frankly production on 2018 GLS all models is very/very tight already - for dang good reason that Mercedes wants a very/very slim dealer inventory when t Mercedes launches the new 2019's - normal release would be August at-dealers - however that release "might" be pulled sooner.
On the gentleman's comment on the 2018 S-Coupe - Mercedes made serious errors and originally overbuilt too many S-Coupes for the market - and the 2018 model is righteously delayed until at-dealer-inventory sells down a bit more..

Fab, have you heard when MB might unveil the 2019 GLE and GLS? Same auto show, separate auto shows? Thanks.
