suspension clunking

I have a 2018 GLS 450, when I turn the steering wheel, sometimes I get a clunking noise, I can hear it and feel it in my left foot and steering wheel, seems to do it more when it's warm out than cold, any thoughts? been to the dealer twice and they can't find it or won't look hard enough, Thanks!

Could be a bad stabilizer end link .
Or a bad upper or lower control arm bushings.
Find another dealer.

Yes, good advice, I'm using Mercedes of Manhattan, the corporate store. You would think they could find this being the preeminent Benz store, but apparently not. Been in there twice for this, Thanks! Here's some other responses to my question;

"Well, my dealer found the problem....the control arms that hold the suspension/struts were causing the noise. They parts arrived today and they installed it. They will test it tomorrow and hopefully everything is fixed!"

"The noise is gone! The dealer replaced the two control arms on the front suspension (one on each side). He said it's like a v-shaped aluminum rod that is part of the wheel and strut assembly."

Hi there

I came across your post and have a same problem. Mine is 2022 Maybach GLS 600 with only 2k miles on it. I hear clunk/squeaky noise coming from the front suspension while turning the steering wheel and going downhill slowly. I also hear the noise when it's warm specially driving for several hours.

Any input will be appreciated.

Ryan

Just called to ask for the repair order, he will send later today, he did say they replaced a few parts but it didn't go away until they replaced the Stabilizer bushings, they were apparently shredded. So I would check that first. I will post the repair order as soon as I get it from him, he's at work and it was not electronic so he needs to go home and take a pic of the repair order, which may not happen until late afternoon.
