No im not paying over MSRP for my 2020 GLS 580
Just meant 10-15% in options on cars nowadays is common
so a 100K car/truck often has and additional 10-15K worth of options
or a 200K car/truck often has 20-30K worth of options
then final price well that’s negotiable

Hopefully, you ordered it in a ridiculous unsaleable configuration. Otherwise, you will probably be paying MSRP or some goodwill gesture of $500-1500 off.

- Why the off road package does not show a price?
- If we don't choose the MB-Tex wrapped lower dash option, what would be the lower dash material for a 580? Plastic?

There is a $5400 option for an upgraded sound system.
If you mean actual radio it comes with HD Radio and Satellite Radio with 6 months free as standard.

Just ordered a Black with Magma Grey 580, 7 seater, night package . I think we're their 3rd 580 order but we don't have a production date yet. We did the 22" wheels vs. 23 because with an SUV, I didn't want to have to worry about speed bumps, etc. The offroad was $0. Also did E-Active which is pricey. Did not do Executive packages but did do: heads-up, augmented reality, air fragrance, acoustic comfort, heated 2nd row seats, heated steering wheel, trailer hitch, designo® Black Flamed Natural Grain Ash, Driver's Assistance, Magic vision, heated/cooled front cup holders, roof spoiler. so about $22k of options - yikes.

Actually upon studying the ordering guide in more detail, I believe the price is added with the E-active body control since that it required before adding the off road package.

Off-road only requires Underguard Protection which is also included with E-Active.

I didn't get E-Active and both my Off-Road and Underguard show no price.

I think I remember it being linked to something else when we were choosing options on the computer. I'll try to ask about it next time. Or its possible its a mistake and they will tack on the price later.

Manually with the Order guide or thru the dealer when I got to that point.

The build options aren't on the US site yet. Dealers started taking GLS450 orders early in the summer and GLS580 about a month ago.

Congratulations. We put our order in for a GLS 450 as soon as they started taking orders for them in August and were told yesterday it should come in around the first week in November. They also said that GLS 450s will come in first and then the 580s will start to roll in. Another dealer said brand new orders on GLS 580 will take roughly 12 weeks to get, and should be in at the end of December or early January, So you're doing really great on timing.

We ordered the upgraded Burmester 3D surround sound system. The speakers in the ceiling displace the MBUX Interior Assistant so that's not available as an option.

The Sept 19th most recent Dealer Order Guide )DOG) use this as most current reference please.

1. GLS450's are in 2nd round of delivery to dealers - however please understand the total # og GLS450's is going to be very tight for this year for the specific colors-features you might be looking for.. awesome SUV by the way - frack the "naysayer's"

2. GLS580 production is schedule to start min-Nov - and all dealer have their Nov/Dec # - and there will be damn few - if your dealer has not gotten you a actual factory PO - then frankly you have zero chance for a GLS580 this year except by act-of-God

At the bottom of every spec sheet is the note "Mercedes Reserves The Right...blah, blah"

If your Spec sheet has a option that shows $0 - that means it is NOT zero but will be updated later - and check against the most recent DOG to see what that future updated price will be.

So all this discussion on Off-Road-Package - please check the DOG yourself - and understand your Sales Adviser that let you leave with Build Sheet in hand with you thinking Off-Road is $0 - then that Sales Adviser is either too slick - or too stupid - to know how to go over a 2020 GLS Build-Sheet properly with you...
