Am I wrong in saying that the US 580 configurator forces you to have the black/night mode if you pick 23 inch wheels?

The US 580 does enable you to select the 23” wheels without requiring the black/night package. See pic.

There was a question in another thread about the left stalk on the steering column not being illuminated. There was a second confirmation I believe and I noticed on my wife's GLA 250 that her left stalk is not illuminated either. It would seem this is how they come, but it doesn't make sense to me. Can you double check yours?

Yup, Mojave Silver. Its more of a taupe now that it is dirty, which I am fine with. Options below, but I will caveat that this is a Canadian order so the packages are different from south of our wall. I have to say the infotainment and general tech is fantastic. The heads up display is the best I have driven with and easily customizable. Smooth ride and handles like a much smaller vehicle. Wife seems to like it and the kids and dog have not complained.

Picked up my 580 on Friday night. Ordered was placed as soon as the dealer got their first allocation last summer. Coming out of a GL350 and been waiting for the X167 for a long time. Very happy with the truck so far.

These are the all-weather floor mats available for second and third rows. I skipped the third row mats. Did buy the all-weather cargo mat for when 3rd row is down. I also bought a WeatherTech mat for use when the 3rd row is up but ended up returning that.
Time to jump start this thread. Took delivery of my 2020 GLS580 today. This has every option in the book except E-ABC, Magic Vision, and Burmester. The combination of Red with Black Accents looks damned good if I do say so myself. My only minor regret is the wood choice. The color is not quite what I expected and I don't think it goes very well with the interior. Also I thought it would be lacquered like my current GL. But overall I'm happy.
