a few things i got that's not on your list are 21" wheels, the trailer hitch and the powered 2nd row sunshades. the 21" wheels are staggered (rears are wider than fronts) which make rotation impossible, BUT the plastic wheel arch flares out just ever so slightly more with the 21" wheels. if you build one on the mbusa website and toggle between the 20s and 21s, you'll see the difference. i know nothing about the amg appearance package, so perhaps that package comes with 21s. the trailer hitch is a minimal cost option that is really expensive to retrofit. i plan on putting a bike rack back there one day. it also serves as a bit of bumper protection when you're parallel parked. i got the powered 2nd row sunshades b/c we have a 3yo that sits back there. i like the ability to raise the sunshade for him when it's bright out or when he falls asleep.

Agree completely with jomama, and those staggered tires are much more stable and I think look great.

I regret not getting the heads up display, and those who have it say it’s hard to go back. I would’ve also have ordered the executive trim, as I think the net storage on the back of the front seats are not quite what I would’ve thought a luxury car would have.

Thanks. The AMG appearance package comes with the 21 5 spoke AMG wheels.

How much does the hitch stick out to help provide bumper protection? Any photos you can share?

Adding the trailer hitch was my first thought as well. The M-B hitch cannot be added later as an accessory. I was rear-ended in my previous GL and had minimal damage because the hitch took the blow. I was able to continue driving and use the hatch until the parts came in for body repair.

I'm a big fan of the heads-up display, but readily admit it has a big price tag.

Depending on where you live, the heated rear seats (second or both rows) might be worthwhile for your passengers. Since you chose the 5-zone climate control, I assume you intend to use all the seats.

Unfortunately neither heated third row nor 2nd row sunshades are available for ‘22. And the AMG package charges the fender flares to body color and they stick out nicely.

Are you getting leather or MB-Tex?

we are getting leather. I wanted the Napa but it only comes in black and wife wanted something light with the blue exterior. There seems to be a raging debate on Tex vs leather, we ultimately went with leather because it seemed wrong to get the tex on a 90k car.
